Book a 30-min video consultation with a Gerieflijk interior team member for only R299. If you end up buying a Premium package after the consultation, R299 will be deducted from your package.

While we’ve done our very best to ensure that the colours and textures shown on our site are as close to the real products as possible, there may be colours and textures variations dependent on your screen settings. Therefore, actual true colours and textures may slightly vary from how they’re portrayed online.

We rely on a dropshipping model for fast and direct delivery anywhere in South Africa. This means that each vendor listed on our platform is liable to ship products bought through Gerieflijk directly to our customer. Your product will be delivered to your work or home address between Monday to Friday 08h00am – 17h00pm.

Note that orders have a variable lead-time depending on which products have been bought. Each vendor (brand) has their own lead-time so please make sure you know what they are for each brand, especially if you've bought from multiple vendors (brands), which will be highly likely. Should you buy various products from different vendors (brands) through one order, you can expect your goods to arrive on different dates and times as separate courier parcels. Please note that items will only be shipped once payment reflects in the designated bank account.

It's important to note that all deliveries will only be made to the ground floor of any address provided. No courier company will be expected to move parcels to alternate floors, this will unfortunately be the customer's responsibility.

As mentioned under Shipping, all of the products listed on our website have a specific lead-time linked to the manufacturing of the actual product. Product lead time means that the product can take anything from 1 day to 12 weeks to manufacture or assemble. This lead time is unique to each and every product and has nothing to do with the related shipping time. Please allow for shipping time of 1 to 5 working days once dispatched. You can check-up on the progress of your order by logging in to your account/profile on our website and viewing your order history.

Dispatch time is when the item(s) in your order is ready for shipment and not the date your order arrives at your door. Dispatch is when our vendors (brands) release the item(s) to their delivery partners who handle final delivery. Once dispatched, delivery should be within 2 to 5 working days, dependent on the respective vendors’ courier providers. But if you live in an outlining or rural area, then delivery will likely take a bit longer and can be anything up to 14 days once the parcel has been collected from the vendor.

You are welcome to return or exchange your order within 3 days of the date of delivery, in its original packaging and condition. No returns will be accepted for any products that are not adequately packaged, regardless the reason for return. Once we’ve received and reviewed the condition of the item and are satisfied, you will be refunded via your original method of payment or you’ll have the option to exchange your item. Exchanges are only allowed for the exact same item (i.e. same item in another colour or print) and/or an item of the exact same value. If you’d rather want an item of a different value from the store, you will have to buy this separately or wait until you’ve been refunded. Please note that certain items listed in our store are custom made and non-refundable. You will see these applicable products on the specific products’ listing page(s). Unfortunately we do not accept returns of any sale items.

Flatpack furniture items cannot be accepted back if they have been assembled and are not packaged exactly like they were received.

Any shipping fees associated with making returns are the customer’s responsibility and will not be refunded unfortunately. Please note, it's not only return shipping fees but shipping fees both ways that are deducted from the refund. If your product is damaged in any way on delivery to you, please let us know and send through images as proof within 7 days of delivery to hello@gerieflijk.com so we can rectify this as soon as possible. If any returned items are damaged during the return transit back to Gerieflijk, due to obvious insufficient packaging, you may not qualify for a refund/exchange.
